Dr Will Visconti's teaching and research span French Studies, Italian Studies, History, Art History, Fashion, Gender & Sexuality, and Cultural Studies. His first book, "Beyond the Moulin Rouge: The Life & Legacy of La Goulue" (2022) was published by the University of Virginia Press. He is currently working on the four-volume "Comedy, Humour, and Laughter: A Documentary History, 1800-1920" with Prof. Matthew Kaiser (UC Merced).
