Will is the Water Policy and Science Communications Fellow at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee’s Center for Water Policy, where he is simultaneously pursuing his master’s degree in freshwater science and water policy. He is currently researching the impacts of public investments in shoreline in Door County for his master's thesis.
Will is an award-winning journalist and storyteller, covering a variety of subjects including water, climate, conservation, adventure, and local government. He holds a bachelor of arts from Saint John's University, where he studied environmental studies. He held positions at Boulder Weekly, Minnesota Public Radio, the Great Plains Institute, and Vermont Law School, and has completed long-term volunteer roles with the Community Resource Center through AmeriCorps and in Nicaragua with Opportunity International.
