Wendy Rogers is Professor of Clinical Ethics at Macquarie University, jointly appointed between the Philosophy Department and the Department of Clinical Medicine. She initially qualified as a general practitioner, before moving into bioethics. Her current research interests include overdiagnosis; evidence and ethics in surgical research and innovation; feminist ethics; vulnerability; and organ donation. She has an interest in health policy and has served two terms on the Australian Health Ethics Committee and several guideline writing groups. She is a long-standing member of the International Network on Feminist Approaches to Bioethics (FAB).
