Waqas Uzair recently completed his PhD in Electrical Engineering and Machine Learning from Edith Cowan University. With over 15 years of experience in software development, coupled with a background in both electrical and software engineering, he is dedicated to advancing battery technology. Currently, Waqas is working on developing intelligent control systems designed to prevent thermal runaway, enhancing the safety and efficiency of battery storage solutions. This work is essential in advancing more reliable energy storage systems that are crucial for the future of sustainable energy technologies. He is also working on the design and optimization of metal-air batteries, aiming to enhance airflow and power density while ensuring safety.
