W. Dominika Wranik leads the SSHRC funded Professional Motivations Research Lab. Her research focuses on motivations, incentives, funding flows, and governance structures in the public sector, specifically among government employees and the health care providers. Her most recent work explores public service motivations in the context of uncertainty arising due to changing work environments.
As an economist, Dr. Wranik is also involved in the shaping of health care funding decisions, including those related to payments of providers and reimbursement of drugs. She is a member of two expert advisory committees with Canada's Drug Agency and has published research on the processes and frameworks that support health care funding decisions.
