Vritta Amroini Wahyudi

Vritta Amroini Wahyudi is a lecturer in Food Technology at the University of Muhammadiyah Malang and an active member of LPH-KHT PWM Jatim (Lembaga Pemeriksa Halal dan Kajian Halal Thayyiba), the halal inspection and research body under Muhammadiyah East Java. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Biotechnology at Chulalongkorn University, Thailand, conducting research at the Laboratory of Plant Transgenic Technology and Biosensor, Department of Botany, Faculty of Science, and The Halal Science Center. Her research focuses on halal authentication, particularly through biosensor and molecular techniques. She is also interested in functional foods and exploring their potential using omics-based approaches. Vritta is actively engaged in writing for mass media to promote the role of science and technology, including halal science, to benefit the wider Muslim community. She continues to study and work with emerging technologies that support ethical food production and enhance consumer trust.
