Dr Vincent Hare is senior lecturer at the Stable Light Isotope Laboratory in the University of Cape Town. He has has broad interests in the isotope geochemistry of past and present atmospheres, plants, and fossils. He also develop new methods and instrumentation for measuring rare isotopes in common gases. Hare holds degrees in both Physics and Archaeological Sciences from the University of Cape Town and Oxford (MSc, DPhil), where he was Clarendon Scholar. He has previously been affiliated with the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences, University of Rochester, and the Department of Physics, Imperial College London.
