• Associate Professor, Department of Leadership, Higher & Adult Education, Ontario Institute, University of Toronto

I began my teaching career 20 years ago as an elementary school teacher in the Toronto District School Board. For the past 15 years, I have curated learning experiences for thousands of K-12 educators and educational leaders on topics of system reform, educational change, leadership, and urban schooling drawing on critical, anti-oppressive, anti-racist, and anti-colonial pedagogical frameworks. More recently, this teaching has extended to staff and faculty in higher education and leaders in the non-profit and public sectors. Since 2014, I have had the pleasure of teaching undergraduate and graduate-level courses at York University.
