My research addresses the moral boundaries of markets - specifically markets in public goods, including health care and education, and physical goods, including body parts and intimate services - and the extent to which theories of exploitation and commodification can help us determine their appropriate regulation. I've published in bioethics and political philosophy journals on a variety of topics including global surrogacy, public health care, assisted reproduction, kidney sales, and medical research. My book, Exploitation: from Theory to Practice, co-edited with Monique Deveaux, was published by Rowman & Littlefield in 2017
