Victor (Vik) Pérez

Dr Vik Pérez is Associate Professor at Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University and an Honorary associate at the University of Liverpool. His work explores learning, cognition and human agency, with a particular interest in how attention, engagement and decision-making are shaped in contemporary educational and entrepreneurial environments. He recently contributed to OECD Education 2040 discussions on student agency and well-being.

He is the founder of BRANET (the Global Brain-Driven Entrepreneurship Education Network), creator of the WNYLE Method (Silver Medal, QS Reimagine Education Awards 2024), and originator of Cognitive Performance Music, an applied research direction examining how cognitive states influence motivation, focus and performance. He also conceived and launched the Global Entrepreneurial Clash, a cross-cultural founder-to-founder learning initiative linking student entrepreneurs across countries.
