Ubong Eduok (Edward)

Eduok's research interests involve the development of novel reaction routes for preparing new biocompatible polymeric thin films and nanocomposite coatings for applications in corrosion protection (e.g., anticorrosion coatings for metal infrastructures) and hemodialysis (nanosorbents for biosensing disease biomarkers). He's currently studying road-salt-induced corrosion on transport infrastructure; and the corrosion/oxidation behaviors of accident-tolerant fuel cladding for small nuclear reactors. His research provides targeted solutions to health and environmental problems to improve quality of life through innovations in material chemistry.
