I am a fourth-year graduate student at the University of Iowa, studying mechanism of DNA damage suppression and bypass. In addition, I have recently completed a 3-month internship at a science advocacy group, Research!America. I have a Bachelors of Science degree in Biochemistry from Creighton University. I have received several awards and honors for my research through my undergraduate and graduate career.
