Tyler Garner, PhD has been a clinical assistant professor at the University of Texas at Arlington since 2013. Tyler has an active interest in the impact on health and disease of nutrition and physical activity in both general populations and in people with disabilities. He also has a background in strength and conditioning, working with the UT Arlington adapted sports programs during his years in graduate school.

Tyler received all three of his degrees from the University of Texas at Arlington: his BS in Exercise Science in 2009, his MS in Exercise Physiology in 2011, and his PhD in Kinesiology in 2020. He is currently working on his recertification for the Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist credential, the gold standard in strength and conditioning.
