Tugra is an Assistant Professor of Marketing at Zayed University, College of Business. Her work focuses on how digital innovation and behavioural science can help promote more sustainable, ethical, and trustworthy consumer choices. Previously, she was an Assistant Professor and Programme Leader for the MSc in Digital Marketing at Southampton Business School, University of Southampton, UK. She is a Fellow of both the Higher Education Academy and the Institute of Data & Marketing.

Tugra’s research sits at the intersection of digital marketing, innovation, and sustainability—examining how people make decisions and how businesses and policymakers can design better interventions to support positive change. Her work has been published in journals such as Journal of Business Research, Psychology & Marketing, European Journal of Marketing, and Industrial Marketing Management.

She brings practical experience, having worked with organisations in the UK, Italy, and Turkey on a range of marketing challenges. This combination of research and real-world insight shapes her contributions to public debate on sustainability, consumer behaviour, and the digital economy.
