Triveni Srikaran

Triveni Srikaran is a PhD candidate in the Department of History at McMaster University, where she also holds a PhD graduate diploma in Gender Studies and Social Justice. She earned a Master's degree in Art History from the University of Toronto and a Master's degree in History from McMaster.

Her research focuses on the significant contributions of women artists to Britain's influential Arts and Crafts movement in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Through her work, she highlights the impact of these artists within a predominantly male-dominated art world, exploring themes of gender, professionalism, and artistic autonomy.
