Dr. Trine Antonsen is research scientist at the Climate and Environment Department at NORCE Norwegian Research Centre.

Dr. Antonsen is manager of the ReWrite Project (2018-2022). The project target is the human/nature-relation and how our perception of nature influence on – and is influenced by – emerging biotechnologies, such as genome editing. Dr. Antonsen holds a Ph.D. in Philosophy from the University of Oslo. Her dissertation “Agrarianism and our dependence on nature” (2017) is a virtue theoretical defense of agricultural values and ideals for our thinking about the human/nature-relation and the climatic and environmental crisis.
