I have worked on various research projects through Griffith University in the topic areas of domestic and family violence and child protection since 2016, after completing my Masters degree, and initially being offered a research scholarship. I have also co-taught on the Family Violence course over several years and have practice experience in the DFV sector. My research has included local, multi-state and international studies. I have been an author on government and evaluation reports and articles for academic journals, as well as contributing to book chapters. I have also worked on ac couple of ANROWS projects as part of a Queensland-based team and have co-written practitioner resources for the Department of Families, Seniors, Disability Services and Child Safety.
