Tracey West

Dr Tracey West has been at the forefront of financial education in Australia for over a decade, focusing on improving financial literacy for women and young people. After completing a PhD in household finance in 2016, Tracey decided to devote her career to understanding how to build financial knowledge in her teaching and research at Griffith University. She joined Ecstra Foundation as the Financial Education Manager in 2023, which provides free financial literacy workshops and resources to schools. Tracey regularly speaks at events and contributes to published articles. She is a strong advocate for accessible financial education and looks forward to the day when all students graduate from school equipped with the knowledge and skills to develop their financial independence and have a high quality of life.
