After many years working in outdoor education and outdoor recreation Tracey moved into the academic world where she has been involved in research on the social legacies of mega sport events, including Vancouver 2010, London, Sochi and Rio 2016 Olympic and Paralympic Games, as well as the FIFA Women's World Cup 2015. Tracey also researches mountain and alpine safety, accessible tourism and risk management, always with a focus on having real-world impact.
