Tom is one of New Zealand's leading climate adaptation experts. He possesses over 20 years experience across a variety of climate, coastal and natural hazard related roles throughout NZ, Australia and the UK.
Tom is founder and Co-Convenor of New Zealand's first and only professional society for climate adaptation practitioners - the Aotearoa Society of Adaptation Professionals - Rōpū Urutaunga Aotearoa (ASAP-RUA). ASAP-RUA was established to advance the practice of climate adaptation in New Zealand for the benefit of all New Zealanders.
Tom can offer you advice on climate adaptation issues, significant weather events and emergency management, policy and practice relating to dealing with climate change and its impacts.
Tom is based in Wellington, New Zealand.
