Tiffany Chiu

Dr Tiffany Chiu is a Principal Teaching Fellow in Educational Development at the Centre for Higher Education Research and Scholarship (CHERS), Imperial College London. She is also Academic Head of Imperial’s student partnership programme, which offers students the opportunity to collaborate with staff on projects that enhance learning, teaching, and the wider student experience. Her teaching and research interests include student transition and progression, assessment and feedback practices, and identity development. She has published in sociology of education, higher education and learning and teaching journals. Tiffany is the author of The Ideal Student: Deconstructing Expectations in Higher Education (2021, Open University Press). She is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
