- PhD Candidate, School for Policy Studies, University of Bristol
I am a researcher with experience in the social development, peacebuilding, and humanitarian field. I am currently a Doctoral Student at the School for Policy Studies in the University of Bristol. My research explores theoretical and practical questions around social movements, environmental organisations, collective identity, moral psychology, and affective polarisation.
In the past, I contributed to a variety of local and international organizations in various countries - including the humanitarian responses in Afghanistan, Ukraine, Syria, and Somalia, social movements and democracy in Latin America and Egypt, and post-conflict reconciliation in Sri Lanka. I hold an MSc in Crisis and Security Management at the University of Leiden, and an MSc in Conflict Resolution and Governance at the University of Amsterdam. I am also interested in economic policy, transnational advocacy movements, and swimming in the ocean.
