Tiara Marthias is a health systems researcher and currently works as a Senior Lecturer at the Nossal Institute for Global Health, The University of Melbourne, Australia. A medical doctor by training from Universitas Gadjah Mada, Indonesia, she holds Master's and PhD degrees in Public Health from the University of Melbourne. Before joining the Nossal Institute, she built an extensive career in Indonesia as a Research Fellow and Lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine, Public Health, and Nursing, Universitas Gadjah Mada. Her work spans health systems research, health financing, and evidence-based policy and planning for health programs in low- and middle-income countries. Her research interests lie at the intersection of health equity, health financing, and health systems and policy analysis.
