Dr. Thomas Hainey is the Programme Leader of Computer Games Development at the University of the West of Scotland. His research interests include: serious games, games-based learning and the use of innovative formative assessment tools for teaching purposes with more than 100 publications in these areas. He is a Senior Fellow of AdvanceHE with a Masters of Education in Higher Education Practice. He is co-author of: "Writing Successful Undergraduate Dissertations in Games Development and Computer Science" by Routledge.
