- Aquaculture engineer, Ifremer
During my PhD I studied copepods and their application as live prey items for marine tropical hatcheries, specifically for species with very small mouthgape at first feeding. I then conducted my post-doc in New-Caledonia on the aquaculture of 2 new species: Lutjanus sebae and Cromileptes altivelis, using copepods as first feeding. In 2015 I moved to French Polynesia to develop the aquaculture of the rabbitfish Siganus argenteus for commercial as well as restorative applications. I was recruited by Ifremer in 2020 and I am currently working on developing culture protocols for local herbivorous species for restorative purposes.
