Thierry Lengagne

Chercheur au CNRS au Laboratoire d’écologie des hydrosystèmes naturels en anthropisés (LEHNA), je travaille depuis plus de 20 ans sur le comportement animal et en particulier les processus liés à la communication. Mon travail porte également sur des aspects de sciences impliquées. Je mesure par exemple l’impact de la pollution sonore sur l’évaluation de la qualité des partenaires, l’impact des radioéléments liés à la catastrophe de Fukushima sur les signaux sexuels secondaires, ou la façon dont l’agriculture - conventionnelle ou biologique - affecte la biodiversité.
Depuis 2016, j’anime un groupe à Lyon qui travaille sur la pollution lumineuse. Selon les années et les projets, ce groupe est constitué de géographes, de juristes, de médecins, de spécialistes de la mesure de la pollution lumineuse et bien sûr d’une équipe d’écologues. Au LEHNA, 5 chercheurs et enseignants - chercheurs abordent les impacts de cette pollution lumineuse à plusieurs échelles, du fonctionnement des gènes à la physiologie et au comportement. Nous travaillons sur différents modèles biologiques : amphibiens, oiseaux mais aussi invertébrés et plantes aquatiques.
