Dr. Terra Manca researches the entanglement of gender and cultural norms into the regulation, development, and use of public health informational materials about vaccines, infectious diseases, and health risks. She has published articles about vaccine product labelling information, how healthcare providers process and communicate information about vaccines, and health in new religious movements. Dr. Manca's ongoing research explores these issues around vaccination in pregnancy regulation, acceptance, and access.
