Associate Professor Terese Henning is the Director of the Tasmania Law Reform Institute. She has taught and researched law since 1989 and been involved in law reform, particularly sexual offences law reform since the 1980s. She was a founding member of Tasmanian Women Lawyers and of the women's group that campaigned for and established the Sexual Assault Support Service in Hobart in the 1980s. She has worked for equity and access to justice for women and vulnerable groups since she was a law student and continues to do so.
