- Candidate, Joint PhD in Health Policy and Sociology, University of Michigan
I am a population health policy researcher. Much of my research centers on policies surrounding the opioid crisis, and on the trends in disability and pain that may have contributed to it. I focus in particular on socioeconomic and racial/ethnic health
disparities, both in health outcomes and in the effects of policies aiming to address the crisis. In other work, I have studied the health and social dimensions of climate change, as well as health disparities in nutrition. I am a PhD student at the University of Michigan and an affiliated researcher at NYU Langone's Center for Opioid Epidemiology and Policy.
