Tarek Abou Jaoude

Tarek is a researcher and lecturer at Queen's University Belfast. His focus is on contemporary Lebanese politics, as well state-building and nation-building processes more generally. Tarek's work so far has centred around state formation and building political legitimacy in the case of Lebanon during the 20th century, though recent publication have looked at the nuance in conceptualising political legitimacy across non-Western contexts.
