Dr Tara Roberson is an experienced communicator with a background in research management and stakeholder engagement. She has worked professionally and in research in a range of areas with emphasis on responsible development of emerging technology, including quantum technologies and autonomous systems. She is an associate investigator in responsible innovation and science communication at the Australian Research Council Centre of Excellence for Engineered Quantum Systems (EQUS).
Tara is passionate about equity and diversity in higher education and STEM; she has previously co-edited a book on queering science communication. She is currently a member of the Science and Technology Australia Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Committee.
