Tara Martin received her Bachelors of Nursing in May 2010 from Villanova University. In the fall of 2016, she received her MSN in Nursing Education from Sacred Heart University. Her nursing practice specialty has focused primarily on pediatrics. Ms. Martin began her nursing career in 2010 at Children's Hospital at Montefiore, which she remained for 7 years, obtaining her Certification of Pediatric Nursing in 2015. In 2016 Ms. Martin served as a clinical adjunct professor at Montefiore School of Nursing. Since relocating to Texas Ms. Martin has worked at Cook Children's Hospital. She began working at the University of Texas at Arlington in January of 2018 teaching Nursing Foundations. Ms. Martin's passion for teaching arose when she was an anxiety-ridden nursing student. Wanting to create a comfortable conducive environment for nursing students to both learn and thrive Ms. Martin obtained her Masters to pursue her vision. In the June of 2021 Ms. Martin began PhD.
