Tanya Jurado

Tanya Jurado is a Senior Lecturer in entrepreneurship and sustainability at Massey University, NZ and the President of the Small Enterprise Association of Australia and New Zealand (SEAANZ).

Tanya's current research focus is on the social role of entrepreneurship, in particular in relation to communities and regions. She is a member of a multi-year project where she is working on indigenous entrepreneurial ecosystems. Other research examines women refugee entrepreneurs, policies to support small business and Indigenous exporters.

She also currently serves as President of the Small Enterprise Association of Australia and New Zealand and is the Editor in Chief of Small Enterprise Research.

As well as her doctoral degree (Massey University), Tanya holds an MA(Hons) from The University of Auckland.
