Political scientist, currently teaching Latin American studies and International relations at Sciences Po Rennes, where she is also co-director for International Relations.
Her Ph.D thesis (Geography- Spatial Planning 2021) analyzes the strategic link between the urban project and European policies, a lever for public action that represents a "new urban diplomacy". Her research also focuses on paradiplomacy and on the development of macro-regions in the EU, as evolutions of "active subsidiarity".
More broadly, her fields of study are political sociology, comparative politics and international relations. She is an associated researcher at the Galician Institute of International Analysis and Documentation (IGADI). A graduate of the Institute of European Studies in Brussels, she also worked for almost twenty years in the international relations of local authorities, in particular leading a European network of cities between 2009 and 2021.
She speaks Spanish, French, English, Galician-Portuguese and (some) Italian.
