My expertise is in forest ecology, tree autecology, forest management and dynamics modeling.
I’m working on the (i) determinants of growth, mortality and recruitment in tropical tree species, comprising logging disturbance; (ii) relationships between biological traits, demography and the environment in tropical forests; (iii) Modelling tropical tree species and communities dynamics (spatially explicit tree models, matrix models), integrating ecological knowledge into dynamics models in order to propose improved logging and management rules.
