Sylvia Morgan

I have been researching transgender identities and social practices in Scotland since 2009. I hold a PhD in Sociology and an M.Phil in Scottish Studies from the University of Glasgow, where I have worked since 2004. In South Africa I lectured postcolonial and English literature at Vista University, and acquired an M.Ed in Information Technology from the University of Pretoria (1999). I had a Fulbright Scholarship to Columbia University (2000) and am the author of The Crisis of Capitalism in Interwar Glasgow (2012).
