Sylvia McLain runs a biophysics research group in the Department of Biochemistry at the University of Oxford. Her research interests lie in understanding interactions between biological molecules in aqueous solutions and how these interactions lead to drug-delivery, protein folding as well as the development of life itself. She is also a College Lecturer in Biophysics and Biochemistry for St. Peter's College in Oxford.
