Syahril Ramadhan

Syahril Ramadhan is PhD in Economics with a specialization in financial integrity, digital transformation, and sustainability reporting. He holds master’s degrees in Accounting and Management, and has over two decades of professional experience in financial regulation and supervision.

He currently serves as a Director role at Indonesia’s Financial Intelligence Unit (PPATK), where he oversees compliance supervision of financial service providers, particularly in anti-money laundering, counter-terrorism financing, and proliferation financing. His work involves regulatory policy, risk-based supervision, and international cooperation, including engagements with global institutions such as FATF and INTERPOL.

In addition to his professional role, he is an active academic and lecturer in auditing, with research interests spanning artificial intelligence, fintech, and ESG reporting, and has published in several international peer-reviewed journals.
