Suzanne Dyer

Dr Suzanne Dyer is a senior research fellow with more than 25 years’ experience in research, health technology assessment (HTA) and guideline development. Suzanne works at Flinders University, currently as part of the NHMRC-funded Centre of Research Excellence in the Prevention of Falls Injuries. Suzanne led two research reports conducted for the Aged Care Royal Commission, was involved in producing the first NHMRC approved clinical practice guidelines for dementia in Australia and managed a cross-sectional study of alternative models of residential aged care. She has managed teams contracted to the Australian Department of Health and Ageing to provide HTA services for the Medical Services Advisory Committee (MSAC) who make recommendations for public funding through Medicare and has experience working in both academic organisations and the private sector.
