Susan Forde

Susan is Professor of Media and Journalism at Griffith University, Brisbane, and was Director of the Griffith Centre for Social and Cultural Research. She has authored books, journal articles and chapters on community and independent forms of media and journalism, and has led research projects funded by the Australian Research Council, the National Indigenous Australians Agency and UNESCO. She is on the Editorial Advisory Board for the quarterly literary journal, Griffith Review. Susan also serves on the Editorial Board for The Conversation (Australia).
