Sunand Kannappan

I am currently a medical student at the University of Calgary in the accelerated three-year MD program. Before medical school, I completed an Honours Bachelor of Health Sciences in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Calgary. Professionally, prior to starting medicine, I worked at McKinsey & Company as a management consultant, where I focused primarily on healthcare and life sciences clients across Canada and the United States. That experience gave me strong exposure to health systems strategy, digital health, operations, and problem-solving at an organizational level. More broadly, my academic and professional background sits at the intersection of healthcare, technology, and innovation.
