Sue Gillett is a senior lecturer in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at La Trobe University, with research interests in screen and media culture and literary studies. She is the author of Cassandra in Red, (Mark Time Books, 2012), Views from Beyond the Mirror: the Films of Jane Campion, (ATOM, 2004) and editor of Land Lines: An Anthology of Regional Poets, (MPU, 2010).
Sue is also experienced in the artistic direction, management and marketing of festivals and other cultural events. She has been a program co-ordinator for the Bendigo Writers Festival since its inception and received the Vice Chancellor’s Award for this work in 2013.
The 2014 Bendigo Writers Festival runs from August 8 - 10.
