Stuart Richards is a Senior Lecturer in Screen Studies at Adelaide University. He is the author of The Queer Film Festival: Politics and Popcorn (2016), Agatha Christie & Gothic Horror: Adaptations and Televisuality (2024) and co-author of Australian Queer Screens: Diversity and Social Change in Film and TV (2026). He is the co-curator of the Adelaide Queer Film Festival and Associate Director of the Creative People, Products and Places (CP3) Research Centre.
