Associate Professor Steven Rynne is an internationally recognised sport pedagogy and coaching scholar at The University of Queensland. His research focuses on learning in high performance coaching and sport-for-development. Working closely with major industry partners (including institutes of sport and national sporting organisations), he co-designs applied research that informs coach education, policy, and practice with the aim of strengthening performance, wellbeing, and workforce sustainability. He also has established expertise in advancing culturally responsive and decolonising approaches to coaching and community sport.
