Steve is an interdisciplinary researcher with an MPhil in astrophysics and PhD in infectious disease modelling. He has 10 years experience in satellite image analysis, data science, evolutionary optimisation, and applied AI. He currently leads the Earth Observation stream within the AI4Space program at Swinburne University's Space Technology and Industry Institute.
