Steve Kourabas

Steve is Associate Professor and Deputy Director of the Centre for Commercial Law and Regulatory Studies (CLARS) at Monash University, Faculty of Law. He is also Adjunct Senior Research Fellow at Monash University European Research Foundation. Outside of Monash, he is a member of the Academic Committee of the Banking & Financial Services Law Association and the Business Law Committee of the Law Council of Australia. He researches, writes and teaches on a wide range of matters related to corporate law and banking and finance law. Before joining academia he received an LLM and SJD from Duke Law School and worked in legal practice for a number of years.
