I am an evolutionary biologist at the South Australian Museum and Senior Research Fellow at Adelaide University, who uses genetic analyses (DNA sequencing) to investigate the systematics (species discovery and evolutionary relationships) and evolution of Australia's fauna, with a strong focus on groundwater animals. I have worked on a variety of organisms including marsupials (e.g. bandicoots and gliders), reptiles (e.g. sleepy lizards) and invertebrates such as subterranean aquatic beetles and amphipods, grasshoppers, spiders etc. I also use genetics data to provide information on species and their populations for conservation management.
