Stephen Pinfield

Stephen Pinfield is Professor of Information Professor of Information Services Management at the University of Sheffield, UK, and Senior Research Fellow at the Research on Research Institute (RoRI). He has a particular interest in scholarly communication, open science, digital scholarly practice, and research policy. He has been involved in open science national and international policy development, and the creation of systems and services to support open practices, since the early 2000s, including founding Sherpa in 2002. His new book, ‘Achieving Global Open Access’, was published in July.
