Stephen Parker is an Honorary Professorial Fellow at the Melbourne Centre for the Study of Higher Education, University of Melbourne and an Emeritus Professor at the University of Canberra. His previous positions include Vice-Chancellor of the University of Canberra, Dean of Law and then Senior Deputy Vice-Chancellor at Monash University. His research interests include legal ethics, law reform, civil procedure, contract law and family law. He is the co-host with Emeritus Professor Stephen Bottomley of Law in Context, a podcast designed to introduce people to law, and a consultant to the law firm Galbally Parker, Melbourne.
