I received my Ph.D. in Child Psychology with a minor in Interpersonal Relationships Research from the Institute of Child Development at the University of Minnesota in 2001. Since then, I have worked as a professor at McDaniel College in Westminster, Maryland. My research focuses on the role of close relationships in development, including romantic, parent-child, and imaginary relationships.
